sophie, is this the kind of thing you were thinking of like looking through doors? i did a project like it in college but shot on film so havent scanned them, but this is one i took a few months ago for a different project. is this the kind of thing you mean?

Yeah I like it, this sort of composition. I've been trying to create separate narratives and moods for the different doorways. With and without people at the moment, I haven't done all that much, but spoke to Gavin about making it Manchester related and he said maybe Manchester united posters... bed sheets or something... I cant think of many other ways of bringing it back to Manchester but i think different domestic narratives would be nice.
So if you wanna shoot anything else that would be great, I think its a case of thinking about whats visible in the doorway, maybe some are more closed than others, and things that are gonna be intriguing, some that are a bit funny. I think that some should be quite empty otherwise its gonna be too much.
If you want to be involved the more work the better! If you think your old photo's will work we'll have to have a look at what we've both got :) I'll put some of what I did over xmas on the blog tomorra... Sorry I haven't half gone on.
