Shot on an old Olympus trip35 with OOD VC400 Kodak film. Scans coming through really harshly unfortunately.

The Zones
Here are some rough and ready clips of the zones, good enough to get a sense of each space.
Zone 1a satellite
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pEIj_NNw574
The walk up to the site which is the glass infornt of column. There are 4 of these glass panels, ( 4 walkways on satellite) the blue will remain but images should be non transparent.
approx size 1.2m x 3 m portrait format
Zone 1b bus
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5L2JKP3gNY8
Alternative way in to terminal, from bus. First intro to the terminal so colour welcoming, quite impressionistic and not too in-your-face
Images for the recessed panels on the left, and /or wall as you approach and/or the big grid as you turn corner ( grid can go.. one big image anybody?)
Zone 2
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5W5UWUIyxXU
Zone 3
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ae_3IiGnGvU
Quick movement of people 'criss cross' lighting creating strange perspective. ( possible work with this or it may be possible to change it)
Good initial lead in to image/ s as viewer walks up to image , then space goes narrow,
So not too aggressive maybe quite simple bold and muted?
long 22m x 3 m !!
Zone 4
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hPsIdFmIMtc
Straight after zone 3 wall on left and glass on right possible wrap around across ceiling?
Zone 5
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gkcl9S9MoDA
On left is wall on right is glass , the glass is a possible site for transparent work ( range of horizons?) paper areoplanes? What ever i think it should be quite light and delicate
zone 5 is towards end of video clip and similar to zone 4 and 6 ( in middle of these). So these three zones could be connected, and working in sympathy with what is on the glass., Again a possible wrap over the ceiling at these points.
Zone 6
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jSpT6ntTs78

Zone 7
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FHl1_GOggvI

Selection Session Friday 05th February 1.30 rm113
Call for all Work in Progress, from small little ideas to nearly completed work.
Mel and I will begoing pitching some of the ideas and work generated so far to the Airport ‘Big Bosses’ next week. The plan is to give them a real flavour of the range of ideas and responses. Although I am hoping that one or two ideas maybe ready to go with just a little tweaking, there is still opportunity for emerging work and ideas (However please note the revised timescale : between now and very soon!!!) So your challenge for this week is to prepare some work for Friday 05th February
Those who are involved and who are current undertaking work / those who wish to be involved and who like to respond very quickly to ideas. Please bring work as low res digital images, we dont need the RAW or high res at this stage (images made into a powerpoint would be ideal). We will run through these on Friday from 1.30 in 113. This is going to be a very informal session. See it as an open studio / drop in session where you can stay for the duration or just while we look at your work and ideas. It will be all very relaxed, so if you are unsure about some of the work you have, just bring it along. (suggest you read the blog, if you haven’t already done so ) Anybody wishing to discuss or show me some work before the Fridays session, please email me or try office and I will aim to find some time over Tues, Wed or Thurs lunchtime / after 4.30ish
Whilst this session is informal, it is also crucial to the preparation of our pitch to the Airport. Our objective is to 'wow' them with the quality, range and diversity of responses. Looking forward to seeing the work.
